Shimere Ballou is a member of The Jeremiah Generation at Vanderbilt University. This organization was founded by Vanderbilt Senior, Bro. Jamie Frazier. I was truly blessed to be a part of one of their recent Worship Experiences. The J.G. Praise Team and The New Direction Choir from Tennessee State University ushered us into God’s presence through song. The J.G. Dance Ministry, which Shimere leads, ministered under the anointing in dance. I was challenged and blessed by the ministry of the Word by Bro. Frazier. These young people are truly Young, Motivated, and Empowered to be all that God has ordained them to be.

 

We DECLARE and DECREE blessings and continual success over these young people in all areas of their lives. We are asking special blessings Spiritually, Academically, Financially, and Socially. Who are We?

 

We are the Jeremiah Generation. Like the prophet Jeremiah, we are rooted in the word, called by the Creator, designed for greatness, and tired of tradition. We have been bought by the blood and have sold out to the Savior. We are a chosen generation. We have been chosen to lead a city-wide movement, which challenges students to grow in their knowledge of and relationship with God.

 

What are We About?

 

We are committed to bringing together the college campuses of Nashville through our small group ministries, worship experiences, and service projects. We are the Jeremiah Generation and we will lead a city to Christ – many of whom will not be reached without us.
