Evangelist Carolyn Griffin

 

Evangelist Carolyn Griffin is President and Founder of Warrior Ministries, Inc. The vision was birthed in 1995 and began as an Intercessory Prayer Ministry composed of prayer warriors and intercessors around the nation. The vision also included Sister “HOOD”, Brother “HOOD”, Y.M.E. (Youth Ministry), and the facilitation of conferences and workshops nationwide. Nine additional ministries and the Kingdom Building Broadcasting Network have now been added to Warrior Ministries. Evangelist Griffin has been anointed, appointed, and ordained by God to Exhort, Edify, Encourage, Educate, Enlighten, and Empower the Body of Christ, and the community at large. Her Evangelistic mandate is to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom so all that she meets will come to know the love of The Father, and the saving power of Jesus Christ. She walks under the apostolic and prophetic anointing, and preaches and teaches the Word of God without compromise. Life experiences have truly prepared her to minister to hurting men, women, and children. Speaking boldly into the lives of sinners and saints, motivating them to become vital members in God’s army is the goal of this Kingdom Builder. As she continues in faithfulness to Him, God is revealing Himself and His Divine Will, more and more each day. He is opening doors for her to share the Word and her personal testimony.

 

Evangelist Griffin acknowledged her call to preach the Gospel in 1995. She received her Evangelist license under Pastors William and Nell Wilkins of Angels Outreach Ministries in Atlanta, Georgia. There she served as Youth Pastor. She was ordained as an Evangelist in February of 2007 in the Southern Association of Ministries under Elder Tommy and Apostle Cecelia Owens.  She is a member of the Anointed Word Evangelistic Tabernacle, COGIC in Lithonia, Georgia where Bishop Bobby Henderson is Pastor. She is a member of the Sisterhood New Covenant Institute under the leadership of Rev. Venus Longmire. She is a member of Women in Combat Ministries in Alpharetta, Georgia under the leadership of Sis. Rene Campbell-Williams. She is a member of the Greenville Ministerial Alliance. Evangelist Griffin is currently under watch-care at The House of Prayer Holiness Church in Greenville, Alabama under the leadership of Pastor Cecilia Adams. She is an Associate Minister and works with the HOP Youth Ministry.

 

Evangelist Griffin received an Associates Degree in Data Processing Technology from John M. Patterson State Technical College in Montgomery, Alabama. She attended satellite classes through Beulah Heights Bible College in Atlanta, Georgia. She serves on the board of Safe Harbor, Children’s Advocacy Center in Greenville, Alabama. She has one son, Vincent, who currently resides in Cookeville, Tennessee. She is CEO of Shalom Enterprises, Inc

Mr. Vincent Griffin

Vincent Griffin is the son of Mr. Willie Griffin and Evangelist Carolyn Griffin. He is employed by Cosmos Inc., in Cookeville, TN. He is a consultant with Kingdom Building Consulting of Warrior Ministries, and is Vice-president of Shalom Enterprises Inc. Vincent attended college on a football scholarship at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN.

Rev. Venus Longmire

 

The Reverend Doctor Venus Longmire is a proud native of Greenville, Alabama. She was born to Professor and Mrs. W. J. & Estelle G. Longmire, educators, community leaders and devoted workers in the Church community.  Minister Longmire has lived a life of service and devotion modeling her life after the Bible, her upbringing and many years of studying sacred texts and the lives of great souls.    *  Dr. Longmire was called into the ministry at an early age. She was ordained in the lineage of the true Apostolic Succession in 1973 by the late Bishop Herman Anderson of the historic African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church founded in 1796 in New York City. Dr. Longmire served as a pastor and teacher for fourteen years in the AME Zion church as well as Campus Minister, Instructor and Director of Religious Development at Alabama State University, upon her return to her home State of Alabama.    * Dr. Longmire, who likes to be called “Sister Venus”, has extensive formal education. She graduated Livingstone College in Salisbury, N.C. in 1965. While in college, she met and married Attorney Melvin Robinson, II. They have one son, Melvin L. Robinson, III.  She returned to graduate school, attending Indiana University School of Social Services were she earned the Masters of Social Work Degree in 1970. Sister Venus became a licensed Medical Social Worker and  worked in that field for several years, always helping people in need.    * She continued her preparation for her high calling for a life in Ministry by entering Seminary at The Interdenominational Theological Center, (ITC) 1976, Atlanta, Georgia where she was an honor student in the Master of Divinity program. She transferred to the internationally acclaimed Emory University, Candler School of Theology. She earned the Masters of Theological Studies in 1982.  She continued her work in ministry and developed a private counseling practice.  She later relocated  to London England where she continued Independent studies at Cambridge University. England.  Sister Venus earned her Ph.D. Degree from Columbia Pacific University, 1987.  In the course of her career  she was employed with the City of Atlanta as a Family Services Supervisor.  She worked tirelessly to train and sensitize her staff to not only the material and emotional needs of their clients but their Spiritual needs as well.  Sister Venus received many awards and honors for her outstanding community service under The Honorable Mayor Maynard Jackson. She became a successful entrepreneur; co-owning an energy centered Coal mining company with her Sister/ partner in Knoxville, TN. They worked closely with the Office of Economic Opportunity to break new ground to open doors for minorities and women. Alex Haley, author of Roots was writing a documentary for PBS on African American Coal Miners and  this required them to work very closely together.  He in turn helped her with her work in developing opportunities for women in business. God will always send you the people and opportunities you need to do His work.  *  Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Sister Venus founded the Sisterhood New Covenant Institute, Inc. a non-profit organization that assists women in their personal, spiritual and professional growth and development. She has ordained, licensed  and mentored many women in ministry and helped them become independent and self reliant in the Lord.   *     In 2006, Dr. Longmire established a Publishing Company, called Mother’s Voice Press, Inc.  This company was formed to encourage women of God and all women to write and share their stories.  Mother’s Voice Press first  publication is a powerful book written by Sis. Sherrel McNair entitled, A Place At The Table For Drugs and Alcohol: A Mothers Fight For Her Children’s Souls, based on a true story. This book will help any family battling with drug addition. Sister Venus, herself a gifted writer has written several books , including a Bible Concordance and  Manual for Women.  She is currently working on a major book, Mother’s Voice, The Lost Writings Of Mary, which will be available soon.   * Sister Venus has been given yet another assignment and that is to establish a Spiritual Retreat where hurting people can come and find peace and joy; where families can come to get closer to God and to each other and where the Saints and fellow laborers can come, commune with nature and with one another. God has given her the land, the prayer grove, walking trails and the gatehouse. The guest cabins are now needed. She continues to be a light of hope and help in our troubled world through her personal work and her affiliation with many wonderful Women and other Organizations in service to humanity.  

Pastor Jim Helms

Jim Helms, Pastor of Call to Life Worship Center, has been in Greenville for 5 years.  Jim and Mary Love, his wife of 48 years,  have many years counseling in the area of relationships. Their mentor, the late Jay Fesperman at C.T.C.I  taught that “Life is Relationship, if your life is good, your relationships are good, if your life is bad, it’s because your relationships are bad.”  Jim’s ministry focuses on the prayer Jesus taught us to pray, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” His focus is to see the heavenly realm invade the realm where we minister.

Besides Alabama, they lived in Florida, Oklahoma, Arkansas, North Carolina, and Georgia with both U.S. Dept. of Agriculture and church ministry. Before coming to Greenville, Jim was Teaching  Elder in New Covenant Church, Dadeville Alabama. He and Mary resided on Lake Martin. Jim, is a native of Auburn , Al. He graduated from Alabama Polytechnic Institute, now Auburn University with a BS degree in forestry. He worked for the US Forest Service for almost 30 years as a forest Fire Control specialist. In 1982 he and Mary Love started a House church in their home in Snellville Georgia. Also during their time in Georgia Jim and Mary Love were active in many Pro-Life activities. With two other couples they started Gwinnett County Right to Life chapter which grew into the state chapter. Jim was very active in “Operation Rescue” during 1988 in the Atlanta area.

In 1984 Jim retired from the Forest Service and was ordained a Pastor and began full time ministry.  In 1986 Jim began a ministry called “The Epaphras Epistle” based on Colossians 4:12. This ministry was to encourage Ministers. They pastored New Covenant Church until 1989 when he and Mary Love were called to work at a Ministry called “Inn of the Last Resort” in Franklin, NC. The name was later changed to “Christian Training Center International.” They were there 3 years ministering to Pastors and their families, missionary families, and people looking for new direction. They were involved in much counseling, deliverance, and prayer. In 1992 They left NC to return to Alabama to minister to Jim’s father who had terminal cancer.

  Jim and Mary Love have a daughter in Marietta, GA, a son in Tijian, China and 5 wonderful grandchildren with a 6th on the way in November.

Pastor Scott Miller

Rev. Scott Miller is the pastor of The St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville, AL. He has been preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ since May 1984. He has been married for 34 years to the former Patricia A. Brown of Brighton, AL. They have three children, Delvina, William and Patrick.

Pastor Miller is a retired U.S. Air Force member that has been blessed of the Lord to have been religiously educated and trained by anointed men of God while serving his country. He is a certified Help Ministry counselor, Bible teacher, accountant, and auditor and served in several ministerial capacities such as associate minister, assistant pastor, interim pastor and spiritual advisor to various auxiliaries in the church. The Lord has used Pastor Miller to preach and teach the gospel in Italy, Germany, Alaska and much of the south eastern United States.

Pastor Miller is an avid proponent of bible teaching and religious education and training. He advocates the belief that a strong effective witness is predicated upon faith in God and an anointed understanding of the Word of God. He trumpets his resolve to be used as an instrument of the will of God whenever he makes this bold yet humble request; “Repeat after me. We walk by faith; not by sight.”

Minister Thomas Jones

Minister Thomas H. Jones is a member of the Potter's House Christian Fellowship in Jacksonville, Florida, under the leadership of Bishop Vaughn McLaughlin, Minister Thomas Jones serves the Jails & Prison Ministry as the Ministry leader of 26 preachers both men & women. Minister Thomas Jones was licensed to preach the Gospel in 1996. His dynamic and untraditional approach to ministry has enabled him to draw to Christ people from every walk of life.

Mr. Dan Therrien

Dan Therrien is a 30-year Public Affairs veteran dedicated to serving various ministries in their efforts to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. No task is too big for this dedicated servant who uses the gifts God gave him in journalism, photography, event planning and execution, desktop publishing and website design for the glory of God.. He is also a committed community volunteer serving on many boards and committees. Dan's loving and supportive wife Pam who is a dear inspiration received a miraculous instant healing from the crippling disease of muscular sclerosis and is a blessing to everyone she meets.

Ms. Charlene Brown 

The proper function of man is to live, not exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them, I shall use my time and seize every moment possible.

Born in Atlanta Georgia, Charlene Brown is a member of Kingdom Living Ministries in Decatur Georgia under the leadership of Pastor LaShan Perry-Burns.   Charlene serves as a mentor to young ladies 9-17 years of age.  She is the founder of Young Ladies in Waiting Etiquette and More Workshops with a mission to educate our girls about life, love, and living; using a visionary curriculum including creative expression, economic, academic and health empowerment training to help them lead the lives that God has already promised.  Charlene is the mother of one daughter, Orlethia with a fantastic son-in law Willie and one grand daughter, Morgan. 

Charlene is employed with a major Health Care facility in Atlanta, Georgia as a Senior Financial Counselor.

Mr. Eugene R. Hudson

A resident of Greenville, AL. He is the owner and president of Hudson Funeral Service, LLC, Greenville and Camden, AL. He is a member of First Missionary Baptist Church were he served as a trustee and president of the seniors. He is a life member of Alabama Funeral Directors & Morticians Association, National Funeral Directors & Morticians Association, East Alabama Funeral Director, Fifth District, chairman of Alabama Funeral Director Convention, Butler County Civic League, New South Coalition, life member of Butler County Optimist Club, and treasurer of  the Professional Men Club. He is married to Mrs. Clara G. Brown Hudson.

Mrs. Earline Johnson

Earline Johnson was born and raised in Greenville Alabama. She graduated from Greenville High School. She attended John Patterson Technical School and completed a Computer Programming course.  After graduation she began her banking career. She has 39 years of banking experience in operations and finance. 

 Earline is presently a member at Southside Baptist Church where she served as Treasurer for 15 years.  She has served on the budget committee, building & planning committee, audit committee and currently on the policy committee.  She sings in the choir and she and her husband, Bobby, sing solos and duets.  Earline states, “we both love singing and praising our Lord and letting The Holy Spirit sing through us, His message to proclaim.  My desire and constant prayer is to have a heart like Jesus.”   

Ms. Earlene Milner

Commissioner Daniel Robinson

 

Commissioner Daniel Robinson is a native of Greenville, AL. He was educated in the Butler County School System. He received an Associate in Data Processing Technology from Trenholm Technical College, Montgomery, AL and an Associate in Art from L.B.W. College, Greenville, AL. He is a medically Retired Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force, where he served for six and one half years. Commissioner Robinson has served the constituents of Butler County District Four for the past eleven years. He has been the owner of Robinson’s Beauty Supply since 1988.

 

Commissioner Robinson serves as Chairman of the Board of the Butler County Optimist Club. He serves on the Boards of the Greenville Boys and Girls Club, the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce, the Butler County Economic Development Council, Butler County 911, and OCAP.

 

Deacon Dan as he is affectionately called, by many, is a member of the New Bethel Christian Church. There he serves as a Deacon, Church Secretary, and Adult Sunday School Teacher. He host The Gospel Hour and is a co-host on K.B.B.N. on 1380 am WGYV radio. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Mary Lewis Robinson, for almost 34 years. They have four children, and three grandchildren. Deacon Dan, who is a cancer survivor lives every day to the fullest and encourages others to trust God and do the same.

Stan Davis

 

Stan is an Atlanta native where he has been a faithful member of  Refuge Temple Church of our Lord Jesus Christ  since 1986. He attended Dekalb Community College where he received an A.S. degree in Physics. Stan is currently employed at the Southern Company Service in Atlanta as a System Planning Specialist where he's been since 1998. Prior to this, he worked at Byers Engineering Company, Engineering Associates, Utilities Consultants Inc., and Georgia Power. His hobbies are bass fishing and collecting fine art.
